Professor Cammie (Catherine) McBride is a developmental psychologist at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has served as President of the international Society for the Scientific Study of Reading as well as the founding President for the Association for Reading and Writing in Asia. Cited nearly 15,000 times in google scholar, she has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles, mostly on the topics of language, literacy, and mathematics learning. She has also edited three academic books and written two others, all focused on aspects of literacy learning. In addition, she has served as an Associate Editor for four different academic journals in the fields of developmental psychology and reading.
